    Hello moms (and Dad)!! We leave for WDW in 4 days-- yipee! We're staying @ PO Riverside. What's the best way to get back there from Boma using Disney transportation? What about from Chef Mickey? Thanks so much!

    To get from Boma at the Animal Kingdom Lodge to Port Orleans Riverside is a two-step process. First you need to take a bus from the AKL to a "hub." Based on your location, I would choose either the Animal Kingdom or Downtown Disney. What these means is, you should go to the bus pick-up area at the AKL and get on whichever bus comes first, Animal Kingdom or Downtown Disney. If you end up at the Animal Kingdom, transfer to a bus to Port Orleans. If you end up at Downtown Disney, transfer to either a bus or boat to Port Orleans.

    From Chef Mickey's you could walk to the Magic Kingdom and take a bus directly to Port Orleans. Alternatively, you could take the monorail to either the Transportation and Ticket Center or to the Magic Kingdom. There are buses to Port Orleans from either location.
