Hi Amy! I have some difficult-to-please members in my family too, so I understand your dilemma! However, Disney has some wonderful restaurants that will please even the most finicky of eaters.
I think your dad would enjoy
Le Cellier. My family loves the steaks, the delicious cheddar cheese soup, and the complimentary pretzel bread at this restaurant in the Canadian pavilion at Epcot. Many people think Le Cellier is one of the best restaurants at Walt Disney World, so reservations can be tough to come by. Be sure to book this one early!
Another favorite of my family is the
Rose & Crown in the United Kingdom pavilion at Epcot. The fish and chips are always tasty here.
Teppan Edo in the Japan pavilion offers delicious steak and seafood cooked tableside by entertaining hibachi chefs.
'Ohana is another popular restaurant at is always on my family's must-do list. At this restaurant in the Polynesian, skewers of grilled steak, pork, turkey, and shrimp are brought to your table, along with tasty sides of salad, noodles, chicken wings and a yummy bread pudding for dessert, all served family-style. Also in the Polynesian, you'll find a delicious breakfast at the Kona Cafe. For finer dining, consider
Jiko at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and the
California Grill at the Contemporary, both of which serve exquisite, gourmet food.
Come visit me again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! I'd love to help!
