Hi moms and dad. I am coming WDW in nov. Will have 1 girl age 6 and 2 grandparents. Was wondering about Disney family magic tour. Is it fun for all ages? What days and times is it? and how long does it last. thankyou

    Hi -

I have taken the Family Magic Tour twice and had a great time. This is a two and a half hour trek through the Magic Kingdom that takes the form of a scavenger hunt. Dates and times of the tour can vary, but generally it is offered daily in the morning. Guests on the tour have to answer Disney trivia questions, find clues in the park and perform silly stunts (like walking through Tomorrowland backwards or something similar). I think this particular tour is a great way to see the Magic Kingdom in a different way for a WDW veteran (3rd visit or more), but I think a first time guest would be better served by spending more time on the attractions.

You can read more about my personal experience on the Family Magic Tour here and here. There is quite a bit of walking on the tour (basically the whole thing with maybe a brief break while you're on a ride), so if the grandparents in your group might be taxed by this, then you might want to think twice.

If you'd like more information, call 407-WDW-TOUR to get specific tour times during your visit and to make reservations.
