When is the cut off date to get a POT in for the Wine and Dine 2019. I would like to sign up for a 10K but I first want to make sure I can use it for the Disney race. Thank you.

Hello, Shawne! Thanks for bringing another great question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

A runDisney "racecation" is one of my favorite ways to experience a quick trip to Walt Disney World Resort, and the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend is on my list! When submitting your Proof of Time for the Wine & Dine Half Marathon, you'll have from March 19, 2019 (the day registration opens) until July 30, 2019. As long as the 10K you want to use as your Proof of Time has occurred between November 1, 2017 and July 30, 2019 you can submit it for corral placement for the Wine & Dine Half Marathon. Please keep in mind that you'll need to provide a website link to the official results of your Proof of Time race, so make sure the sponsors of that race will post the results online. If you think you will finish the Half Marathon in more than 2 hours and 45 minutes, though, Proof of Time is not required. Proof of Time is also not required for the Disney Fall Feast 5K or the Disney Wine & Dine 10K.

My favorite way to prepare for a runDisney race is to use Jeff Galloway's training programs. Even with more than 30 races under my belt, it's still my go-to source for getting ready to cross that finish line once again. Galloway also typically makes appearances at the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo for each of the runDisney race weekends, and he is such an inspiration to meet in person.

Best of luck to you in your race, Shawne! Please let us know if there are any other questions we can answer for you as you prepare for your racecation this fall.
