We have our customized MagicBands and are so excited for our upcoming trip! We plan to visit the parks the morning of our check-in day. Do we need to "activate" our MagicBands in any way, or are they all ready to be used at the parks that morni

    Hello Heather,

You will be at the most magical place on earth in just a few short weeks.  You're going to love the ease and convenience of your Magic Bands.  The Magic Bands are already activated and as long as you have linked your park tickets to the bands, you're all set to start enjoying your vacation when you arrive.  Also, if you have done on-line check in, provided a credit card and selected a PIN, you should be able to utilize the charging privileges on your Magic Band in the parks.

The posted check in time is 3:00 pm, but you can actually check in whenever you arrive and get everything squared away with your resort front desk, including dropping off your luggage before you head over to the parks.  Disney likes to make everything as easy as possible so that all you need to do is have fun!

Wishing you a magical vacation and pixie dusted memories with your family.

Walt Disney captured my heart as a little girl and has not let go since. As a parent and grandparent, I have been to the Walt Disney World Resort with children of all ages, and also as empty nesters. I would like to share my years of experience so that you are able to start your own tradition of Walt Disney World memories, just as I have. Learn More About Leanne
