Welcome to planDisney, John.
I can't think of a better place to be than Walt Disney World as a young adult. Staying at a
Disney Resort hotel should ensure a safe and fun vacation for your daughter, with easy access to the theme parks.
Guests must be at least 18 to make a reservation at Walt Disney World. Each room must have a lead guest 18 years or older who can show a valid photo ID at check-in.
You may like to help your daughter decide which Disney Resort hotel is best for you! All offer fantastic benefits such as Early Entry. One of my favourite and budget-friendly options is
Disney's Pop Century Resort, particularly for its
Skyliner access! Great for both
Hollywood Studios and EPCOT and perfect for access to
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. You may wish to contact the reservations team by phone to provide details about the travel party, who can offer tailored guidance.
Guests can have their own
My Disney Experience account from the age of 13, and I highly recommend your daughter set up her own account for use within the Parks. You can always link to her in My Disney Experience as 'My Friends & Family' using your email address.
I hope this information helps, John. I wish your daughter a fantastic time at Walt Disney World. And I wish you peace of mind while she's away.
Louise
