Hi Simon! It's always a delight to welcome a Guest back to planDisney!
Disney Caribbean Beach Resort is the perfect tropical tonic for our long, grey winters. I think the Jamaica building is a great choice and one I would recommend. You can reach the hub of the Resort (at Old Port Royale) from the Jamaica building via the walkway through Barefoot Bay, which also connects you to the main pool, dining, and Guest Services.
There are eight bus stops, starting at Martinique and then going around the Resort in the following order: Old Port Royale, Barbados, Trinidad North, Trinidad South, Jamaica, and Aruba, but please know that the order may be subject to change. At particularly busy times, such as when Guests are trying to make
Early Entry at the Parks, it may be a good idea to take that short walk across the Bay to Old Port Royale to ensure you nab a seat on the bus. When returning you can disembark at Jamacia or stroll back to your room with a Peachcomber in hand from
Banana Cabana. I highly recommend the second option! I also recommend double-checking the destination with the bus driver when embarking on each bus journey.
As you mentioned, the Jamaica building is within easy walking distance of
Disney Skyliner stations, which service both EPCOT and Hollywood Studios.
Simon, if you need anything more for your Walt Disney World adventure, please let me know. Enjoy the magic... and the sunshine!
Louise
