Currently, my wife and I are scheduled for Magic Kingdom March 17. Need to change date to March 19. Grandson is marching in his high school band 6 pm evening of March 19 at Magic Kingdom. Just received change from his High School Band Director.

    Hiya, Robert! Welcome to planDisney!

Oh boy, it looks like your trip to Walt Disney World Resort is right around the corner! You'll be visiting at a great time, since The World's Most Magical Celebration is still in full swing. Be sure to check out the glowing Beacons of Magic in each of the parks, which light up the night in fun and delightful ways! Not only that, but I'm so excited to hear that you'll be able to see your grandson marching in his high school band while visiting Magic Kingdom Park. Talk about magical! I would love to help you change the date of your theme park reservation. It will be as easy as bibbidi-bobbidi-boo!

First, you'll want to make sure you check the Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar before making any changes to your theme park reservations. I wouldn't want you to change your reservation if the new date is unavailable. But great news! At this time, it looks like all parks are available for March 19! After you check that your new date is available with your preferred park, you'll want to cancel your first theme park reservation for March 17.

To do this, log into your account online. Hover your mouse over the My Disney Experience tab and click My Plans. Scroll down until you can see your theme park reservation made for March 17. Click "View Details" next to that reservation, then "Cancel This Reservation." After you do this, you'll want to immediately make your new reservation for March 19. Head over to the Disney Park Pass system page, click the type of tickets you have (most likely Theme Park Tickets) and make your new reservation for Magic Kingdom Park on March 19. Ta-da! You are one step closer to your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

Robert, I'd also recommend taking some time to download and explore the My Disney Experience app prior to your trip. This app will help you to unlock everything that Walt Disney World Resort has to offer! You'll be able to view park maps, check wait times for attractions, and even mobile order food. I love knowing that my snacks and meals will be ready and waiting for me before I ever feel a rumbly in my tumbly!

If you have any other questions, I hope you fly your magic carpet our way again. After all, you've got a friend in me!

    See ya real soon!
