Hello, I am currently a socal resident trying to use the socal resident discount for tickets - however my ID is still from out-of-state since we just moved here. Is there any other form of proof of residency I can provide?

Greetings, Anabel, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for reaching out to us about the Southern California Resident Ticket. This special 3-day, one park per day ticket is for Guests who reside within ZIP codes 90000 and 93599.

Guests using the SoCal Resident Ticket must show a government-issued photo ID for admission. This means a California driver's license or California ID showing proof of eligible residency is required. Utility bills, bank statements, student IDs, or similar items are not considered valid substitutes.

However, I have some good news for ya, pal! This offer will be around for a few more months, through May 15, 2025. That means there is still plenty of time to get your California Driver's License or California ID and take advantage of this offer.

Perhaps you can time your visits for the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival (February 28 - April 21). This is one of my favorite annual events, not only for the food and drinks, but also for the entertainment and wacky encounters with Goofy the Chef. You might also enjoy one-of-a-kind experiences in a galaxy far, far away during Season of the Force at Disneyland Park (March 28 - May 11).

Anabel, I'm sorry if this isn't the news you were hoping to hear about the SoCal Resident Ticket. However, I'll wish on a star that you'll have a chance to use this offer once your ID reflects your new address. If you have any other questions, let us know. We are happy to help!

    Sending pixie dust your way,
