Hiya, Amanda!
Welcome to planDisney! I am so sorry to hear about what you and your family are navigating right now. The last thing you need is any additional stress. I’ll be happy to help guide you through this.
If you have a
standard theme park ticket, you can change your theme park reservation as long as the ticket is valid for use. Typically, you should be able to update your park reservation online or through the Disneyland
mobile app. When I am having difficulties within the app, I try to complete the task online. Here’s how:
- Visit My Theme Park Reservations. (After clicking this link, you will be prompted to log in to your MyDisney account.)
- Choose "Modify Reservation."
- Select the members of your party who will be modifying their park reservation.
- Choose the new date by selecting an available date on the park reservations calendar.
- Choose the theme park you want to start your visit at for that day.
- Click "Continue."
If you’re still not seeing your desired dates available, please reach out to the
Tickets support line via phone at (714) 781-4636. A Cast Member would be able to take a deeper look for you!
Bonus Tip: Best practice is to cancel and rebook your theme park reservation by 11:59 PM (Pacific Time) on the day before your reservation. If you miss this deadline, all is not lost. You'll just need to wait until the day after your original reservation date passes before you can rebook.
Amanda, I hope this information was helpful and that you’re able to get this resolved very soon. Feel free to come see us again here at planDisney if you have any additional questions!
Sending you faith, trust, and pixie dust,
Karmeen
