One cardinal rule to keep in mind when considering such matters at Walt Disney World is that "
Character appearances and entertainment are subject to change". Knowing that and planning for the worst case scenario will help keep any little ones from being disappointed.
That being said, the character theme at
Hollywood & Vine has always been to showcase Disney Junior (and Playhouse Disney before the name change) characters here. They used to be pretty slow at updating the characters, as many JoJo and Goliath fans will attest. But of late I have noticed them being much more up to date. Also, Disney seems to be putting on the full court offensive on getting Sofia out there as fast as they can. She is already part of the
Disney Junior - Live on Stage show in that same park, so the possibility of her being at Hollywood & Vine is very high.
You might also want to consider who told you this. If it was the Disney reservation line, then that improves the likelihood of it being true.
BOTTOM LINE: I am hearing (totally unofficially) that in April Sofia might be joining the crew at Hollywood & Vine. But again, you can't be sure. You will have to wait and see, and continue to keep an eye out for other guest reviews.
