    I am currently planning our first WDW vacation for Thanksgiving 2013. My daughter will be 5 and I am interested in the New Art of Animation Resort. Looking for more info about it. Thanks a bunch!

    Hey there Jamie! As a planner myself, it is super exciting hearing that you are already planning your 2013 Walt Disney World vacation!  Disney's Art of Animation Resort is the newest resort at Walt DIsney World and is categorized as a Value Resort. Guests may book Family Suites which accommodate up to six guests and The Little Mermaid standard rooms which are designed for up to four guests. I received a sneak peek tour of Disney's Art of Animation Resort in April before it officially opened and loved the immersive storybook theming and attention to detail at every turn. Some of the many advantages to staying at this whimsical resort include The Big Blue Pool, a really cool feature pool, Landscape of Flavors, a great quick-service dining location, and not having to share Disney's complimentary bus transportation with any other resort. Your daughter will love watching Movies Under the Stars, swimming in one of three pools, The Schoolyard wet play area, Pixel Play Arcade, and playing on the Righteous Reef playground.
