Hi ya, Johanna!
I'm happy to meet you, thanks for your question! Having a
Magic Key is such a magical thing, and I can't think of a better celebration of a birthday for a little Mouseketeer. What an amazing gift!
The Magic Key Program does allow for current Magic Key Holders to purchase a Magic Key Pass of the same type for a newly eligible child who now requires their own admission to the parks. So you can absolutely call the
Magic Key Holders phone number and start that process when you're close to birthday time!
I also see that the
Inspire Keys are currently available for new purchases as well. That means you could also simply purchase your daughter's pass online now, and then wait to activate it until her birthday. According to the
Magic Key Terms and Conditions, you have one year from the purchase date to activate a new Magic Key, so it isn't a problem to purchase it now and activate it for her birthday.
Will you be celebrating your daughter's birthday in the parks? Turning three is a big deal because that's the magical age to be able to have a makeover at the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique! Even if a makeover doesn't work with your plans, I recommend stopping by the boutique and asking for a sprinkle of pixie dust to add some sparkle to your day. It's complimentary!
I hope you are enjoying your Magic Keys, Johanna! There's not much better than a day in the theme parks with a tiny best friend. Give Mickey a hug for me!
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
