Welcome to planDisney Wesley!
As a
Magic Key holder myself, I love to connect with people like you who are looking forward to enjoying all the perks of membership. This week, I was able to breeze through the online queue for the
Disneyland After Dark Event: Sweethearts' Nite tickets two days before they were available to everyone else! Plus, it's always nice to be able to pick up the
exclusive swag available to keyholders throughout the year!
Now Wesley, as you know, all Magic Keys are currently in renewal mode, and
new sales are on pause. However, as King Scar wisely says,
Be Prepared! I can tell that your teeth and ambitions are bared, so I'm happy to help you be prepared for the moment that new sales become available again.
So here's the scoop, Wesley: if you're planning to make a partial payment with a
Disney Gift Card, you'll have to do that in person at the ticket booths. Just a heads-up.
If you're planning to pay in full, you can actually
combine multiple gift cards online so that you can purchase the Key in full before your visit. However, partial payments with a Disney Gift Card are only available at the ticket booth, unfortunately.
If you're a California resident and plan to take advantage of monthly payments, keep in mind you'll need an active credit card on file online. If you visit the ticket booths in person, the Cast Member there can take your
down payment as a gift card and set up your remaining monthly payments with a credit card on file.
But I must warn you, Wesley, when those new Keys drop, they're going to sell faster than
Mickey-shaped Gingerbread Cookies. Last year, I spent hours in the online queue and then decided to stop by the ticket booths in person for another several hours—totally worth it, though. All Keys were gone by the end of the week.
A shiny new era is tiptoeing nearer, so I hope this helps you strategize, Wesley. If you've got more questions or need a quicker response,
visit me again for a faster response.
Long live the King,Danielle
