Greetings, Jessica!
Welcome to planDisney! I’m so glad that you’re aware of the
Special Southern California Resident Tickets that are available to us locals to The Happiest Place On Earth next year! Whenever these discounted tickets become available, I make sure to snag a few for my family, even though I’m a Magic Key Holder, so that we can enjoy that we can make magical memories together through Valentine’s,
Lunar New Year, and the
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival together. It’s such a
supercalifragilisticexpialidocious deal!
So here’s the scoop, Jessica: If your plans change after you’ve made a reservation, you have until the clock strikes midnight the evening before your visit to cancel your reservation. If you cancel your reservation on the day you were scheduled to visit, or if you never scan your ticket the day that you were expected to visit, you will not be able to make a new reservation until the following day.
However, if you stay one jump ahead of your reservation, you’ll have A Whole New World of opportunities to reserve a day to enjoy the resort, as long as there is still availability on the day you want to visit.
Here's the game plan, Jessica: Head to the
Disneyland Resort website and make sure you're logged in with the same account you used to get those
theme park tickets. Hover over "Parks & Tickets” on the upper left side of the page and click on "
Ticket and Reservation Details." Then, scroll down to "Make or Modify Reservations," and bam! You’re in business. Just find your upcoming Theme Park Reservations, hit "Modify Reservation," and make sure Disney California Adventure Park is ready for your epic day.
I hope this information was helpful, Jessica. I know you'll have an
incredible time at the resort next year. If you have any more questions, feel free to
message me again, and I can get back to you more quickly.
You've got a friend in me,
Danielle
