Currently dinner booked with the fantasmic dinner package, but sci fi diner looks like a lot of fun. Is it worth it to do fantasmic package? Or better to do sci-fi diner, and then try to get a good spot for 2nd showing of fantasmic? Thanks

    Hi, Toriea!

I'm so glad to hear that you've booked the Fantasmic! Dining Package! This is a great way to save time waiting in line for terrific seats at the amphitheater. Although, if you ask me, there is not a bad seat in the house for this spectacular show! Instead of having to hop in line up to an hour prior to the start of the show, you'll be able to arrive 20-30 minutes prior.

The Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant is super cool and their food is awesome! It feels like nighttime no matter what time you dine there because the setting is a 1950's outdoor drive-in theater, but it's inside. Your family will be seated in a classic car-shaped booth or table where you'll be able to watch campy clips of old sci-fi films. My family really likes to enjoy lunch at this location, especially on a hot day.

I'm wondering if perhaps you could change your Advanced Dining Reservation to the earliest lunch slot available and then make your dinner reservation for the latest time you can? Whenever we eat at two sit-down restaurants in one day, we make the reservations far apart from each other to save on costs and enjoy just two meals instead of three that day. I think it could work out real well for you in this situation and then you'll be able to enjoy the best of both worlds!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Moms Panel, Toriea, and I sure hope this helps! Please don't hesitate to write back in if we can assist with any other questions you have.

Wishing you and your family a Pixie Dusted vacation!
