We currently have 6-day Pkhop+ tickets. If we buy a ticket to an "After hours" or Early Magic Event on two days that we won't be at the park, does that count as one park day? We were not planning to spend the day at the parks on those dates.

    Hi Thais,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds like you'll be enjoying LOTS of Disney magic and fun this summer, and I bet you're already bursting with anticipation!

If you purchase admission to Early Morning Magic at either Magic Kingdom Park or Disney's Hollywood Studios, you'll have early access to some beloved attractions with very small crowds and you'll get to enjoy a scrumptious breakfast. Regular theme park admission will still be required in addition to your Early Morning Magic reservation, though, so one day's admission from your 6-day Park Hopper Option tickets will be used.

For Disney After Hours, however, you'll purchase special tickets to either Magic Kingdom Park, Disney's Hollywood Studios, or Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and you'll be able to enter the respective park beginning at 7:00 p.m. and stay through the end of the Disney After Hours event. No regular theme park admission is required, and a day will not be used from your 6-day Park Hopper Option tickets. Regular day Guests will still be there until the theme park closes, but the magic and fun will continue for you for three more hours after the park closes! I'd definitely encourage you to purchase your admission to Early Morning Magic or Disney After Hours early, though, as admission is limited.

Have fun putting together all of the final pieces of your itinerary, and please come back and see us again if we can help with anything else. I hope that you have a truly magical vacation, Thais!
