Hi, Rondi! Each time we start planning our next visit, I start a new spreadsheet so I can keep track of "the Mickey math." This helps me see what I need to save and also compare different options. There are several options you have when trying to figure out the most cost effective way to add an extra magical day to your vacation. One-Day tickets, Park Hopper upgrades, add-on days, oh my! So many numbers to run!
One thing to consider when thinking of adding One-Day tickets is that this specific ticket is priced differently than multi-day tickets. Its price will change depending on when you plan to use it and also at what theme park. Another thing to consider is that guests are unable to add the Park Hopper Option to just one day's admission on their theme park ticket. If you add this option, it will be applied to every admission on the ticket.
So, everything considered, I found that your best bet would be to add on a day and the Park Hopper option to your current tickets. Walt Disney World Resort offers great discounts on ticket prices the longer that you visit the theme parks versus just adding a One-Day ticket. To help you plan out the cost of the upgrade, the current cost of a Four-Day Park Hopper ticket is $484.58 for adults and $463.28 for children. Subtract out the price you paid for each of your current tickets to determine how much you will need to pay to make this change. You can
call a Cast Member in Existing Tickets to see if you can upgrade your tickets now or if you will need to make the change in person at
Guest Relations. Ticket prices are subject to change at any time, so please understand that the price I mentioned above may change before your visit.
Thanks for stopping by today and please let us know if you have any other questions!
