Welcome to planDisney, Nicole! Your visit is just around the corner, and I’m delighted to help you put the finishing touches on your plans.
As you may know, the
Premier Pass grants each Guest one-time access to every available Lightning Lane attraction, including both Multi Pass and Single Pass selections, with the flexibility to ride whenever you’d like. Available in limited quantities, the Premier Pass can be purchased by all Guests, including those with single-day theme park tickets, up to seven days before arrival. However, if you have a 1-park ticket, your Lightning Lane Premier Pass will only be valid in that park. Since the price of the Premier Pass remains the same regardless of how many parks you visit in a day, you might consider purchasing
Lightning Lane Multi Pass instead or upgrading to a Park Hopper ticket to get the most value out of your Premier Pass.
If you decide to upgrade to a Park Hopper ticket, simply log into your
MyDisneyland account via the Disneyland website or
Disneyland app. Navigate to "Tickets and Passes" to view your existing ticket, and if you see a “Change” or “Modify” link next to it, you can use that option to add the Park Hopper feature and complete the upgrade. If that option isn’t available, your best bet is to
call the Disneyland Resort and speak with a Cast Member, who can assist with the change over the phone. You can also wait until you arrive and visit a Guest Relations booth just outside either park, where Cast Members will be happy to help with ticket upgrades.
If you choose to purchase the Premier Pass, be sure your entire party’s tickets and park reservations are linked to your MyDisney account so you can purchase Premier Passes for everyone eligible. If you decide to purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass instead, simply log into the Disneyland app after entering Disneyland or Disney California Adventure. Tap the three horizontal lines at the bottom right of the screen, then select the "Lightning Lane Passes” tile at the top right. From there, you’ll see banners for different Lightning Lane options, each with a purchase button. Clicking on any of them will take you to the "Tip Board," where you can check attraction availability, current standby wait times, and Lightning Lane return times. At the top, you’ll see green arrows labeled "Purchase for Today at..." with that day’s pricing. Once you complete your purchase, you can book Lightning Lanes and return at your designated time for each attraction.
However you choose to maximize your Disneyland Resort adventure, I know you’re in for a magical time! If you have any other questions or need more tips, visit us again at planDisney—we’d love to help.
Wishing you a pixie-dusted trip!
