I am currently booked with a free dining pin at POP century. If I upgrade to a moderate- can I keep the quick service plan or am I forced to get the deluxe dining plan? Thanks in advance!

Hi, Shelley! Congratulations on getting in on the free dining promotion! If you are able to upgrade to a Moderate Resort and keep the promotion, you will be upgraded to the regular (not Deluxe) Disney Dining Plan.  Since it's free, I would go ahead and do it! If you are concerned with not wanting too many Table Service (sit-down, reservation-required meals) experiences, you will be so glad to know there is a great work-around.  There's only one exchange that can be made on any of the Disney Dining Plans. The only 'trading" that is allowed is that Guests may redeem one Table-service entitlement for one Quick-service meal.  The opposite is NOT true.   Entitlements don't covert any other way. Using a Table-service credit for a Quick-service meal is not the best financial choice because the Table-service credits are worth more, but it is a good option for those not wanting to be tied down to Advance Dining Reservations everyday.  Since yours is free anyway, you aren't losing any value.  You can make this exchange as many times as necessary to fit your needs.  Simply let the Cast Member taking your order know that you wish to redeem Table-service credits for your Quick-service meal.  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
