    Is there currently a boat from the Contemporary to Fort Wilderness to get to the Hoop dee Doo?

    Hi Cindy!

    Congratulations on your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World! August is a wonderful time of year to visit! Make sure to visit some of the "cool" spots that provide summertime relief, such as Splash Mountain, Frozen Ever After, The Seas with Nemo & Friends, and Kali River Rapids.

    Disney's Contemporary Resort has a boat launch that provides complimentary water taxi transportation to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. Disney's Magic Kingdom area water taxis begin operating 30 minutes prior to the park opening until 1 1/2 hours after the park closes. The green flag launch is the route that you will take to get from Disney's Magic Kindom / Disney's Contemporary Resort to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground to watch the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. I took my kids to see this show and they absolutely loved it! I was so excited to see that it is returning this summer.

    While you are here, consider spending a day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon and buying a ticket to Disney H2O Glow After Hours! This event takes place on select nights until August 27, 2022. This glow party allows you to explore the park after it closes!
