Welcome back aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kellie!
I am excited to hEAR you will be sharing a high seas adventure with your son next year! With so much fun
included on your Disney cruise, your entire pirate crew is sure to have an amazing time.
The Dine and Play option is a great way for your pirate-in-training to enjoy dinner with you before heading off for an evening in the
Oceaneer Club and
Oceaneer Lab. I have to say, for my family, this option was fantastic when we selected second seating in the
rotational dining rooms. My pirates get a little salty waiting for mom and dad to finish their meals!
In my experience, the Youth Counselors rounded up all the young pirates about forty five minutes after we sat down for a meal. For most dining rooms, the timing was perfect. When we ate at
Animator's Palate, my pirates stayed for the final show and did not go with the Youth Counselors. Your dining room service team will communicate with you each evening's events to make sure your pirate crew doesn't miss a magical moment. Be sure to ask if you are unsure. The youth clubs are very close to the dining rooms so if your son decides to stay, you can easily step away for a few moments to bring him to the youth clubs yourself before your dessert is served!
Sail back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel for help navigating the planning process as you countdown the days until your adventure!
"Sea" ya real soon! Angie
