Hey, Mary! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks so much for stopping by with your question! I had this exact same question several years ago when renewing my Annual Pass for the first time. It was going to be four months until my next trip to Walt Disney World Resort, but I had three trips planned within two months of each other. What a magical year that was!
When you renew your Walt Disney World Resort Annual Pass, it will keep the same expiration date. In your case, the new pass will expire February 5, 2020. When I renewed my Annual Pass this past July, I did not officially activate it until my next visit in October. I just double checked its expiration on My Disney Experience and see that it has a July expiration date. I always keep an eye on those dates, mainly because it helps me plan "just one more trip." My husband tends to roll his eyes when I use that excuse to plan a quick getaway to The Most Magical Place on Earth right before my pass expires. Ha!
Another great thing to keep your eye on is the list of
exclusive Passholder benefits! Some fun V.I.PASSHOLDER Nights were just announced in February and March. There are great discounts on events like
Disney After Hours. I bet I don't even have to mention the fantastic dining and merchandise discounts to you! I am sure you keep that list handy!
I hope this information helps you plan another magical year as a Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder! Thanks again for stopping by and please let us know if you have any other questions!
