My current tickets have me going into Animal Kingdom on 5/27 and Epcot on 5/28. I understand that Fantasmic will begin again on 5/28. How can I switch my park entry for 5/27 and 5/28?

    Bill,

Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!

You absolutely can change your theme park reservations using the Disney Park Pass system. However, you will want to be sure that the parks you were moving to have availability on those particular dates. Here are the steps you will want to follow for that change.

    1. Start by confirming that the park you want to switch to has availability, based on your ticket type, for that particular day. If there is no availability, you may want to keep your original reservation. You can check the availability at the Disney Park Pass Availability Calendar.
    2. Next, go to your My Disney Experience account and select "My Plans". Find the theme park reservation on the day that you want to change and click on "View Details". On the next page, you will want to click on "Cancel This Reservation", selecting all the guests for whom you wish to cancel.
    3. Finally, all you must do is go in to make the updated reservation selection, as you did before, with your new park selection.

    BONUS TIP
I did check the calendar for April 27th and 28th, and unfortunately the only park that has available entry slots on either date is EPCOT. Since Fantasmic! is located in Disney's Hollywood Studios, I am not sure if you will be able to switch to get into that park. You could consider adding the Park Hopper option to your tickets, though park hopping would be dependent upon the destination park having availability that day. Please note that just because there are no Disney Park Pass System slots available today, that does not mean that there would not be some opportunity for park hoppers on those dates.

Write me back if you have any other questions.
