    Have current reservations for me, DD 22 mos, DD9 and DH at ASMu in October. DD9 saw the pool at POR and is thinking that she wants to go for the slide. It is not that much to upgrade our room. Do you think that it is worth the extra $?

    Hi Sara! Thanks for writing the panel. Your daughter is right - Port Orleans Riverside has a fabulous slide in the pool on Ol' Man Island! I'm not sure if that on it's own is worth the extra money, but combined with all the other features you may think it's worthwhile for your family. Located on the beautiful Sassagoula River, Port Orleans is a gorgeous resort. There are boat and bike rentals, horse drawn carriage rides, a great food court as well as a sit-down restaurant, and my favourite part, a relaxing boat ride that takes you to Downtown Disney. In addition, guests of either Port Orleans Riverside or French Quarter can enjoy the pools and facilities at both resorts. You won't be disappointed!

    Now that being said, I asked my daughter (11) which of the two she prefers and she said All Star Music. The theming is fantastic, and she absolutely loves the pool-side activities hosted by the cast members. Each day, there is a schedule of events ranging from dance lessons, water balloon toss, trivia, giant pool volleyball and so much more. In the evenings, there are poolside movies, that the kids love watching from inside the pool. You seriously can't beat the value!
