Hey there, hi there, David! Thanks so much for your question.
I am going to jump right in here and just ask you to stay up to date with the information located on the
Know Before You Go section of the
Disney Cruise Line website. Not only can the information be changed at any time, but even as I was answering your question, the page was updated to the latest protocols.
As of this very moment, any guest that is fully vaccinated - including children under the age of 5 - will be required to provide proof of a negative Covid-19 test taken one to two days prior to embarkation. You can do an in-person test, or take one of the available proctored at-home tests that are now available. Once you have your negative results, you can upload them to the Safe Passage website by midnight on embarkation day, and you will be exempt from testing at the cruise terminal.
We still have a lot of time before your October sailing, David, so you do want to stay on top of the latest updates. You can always come back here to double-check before you head off on your beautiful
Disney ship.
Bon voyage!
Anna
