What is the current dining reservation capacity for table-service restaurants at Disneyland? My next Disney trip will have a party of 9.

    Greetings and bon appétit, Adrionah!

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for coming by with your question. It sounds like you're about to visit the Happiest Place on Earth with a large crew! I try to take an annual trip to the Disneyland Resort with my work colleagues and we find meals to be the perfect time to all gather together and enjoy each other's company.

Dining reservations will open up 60 days in advance but can be difficult to get for larger parties. You can easily request a reservation for 9 people (you can input up to 20 people on the website) but since the 60 day mark has already passed, I would recommend booking as soon as possible since availability might be limited. If you are unable to find anything to accommodate a large party, you could split your party into two groups and have someone else book another dining reservation at the same time. At check-in, inform the Cast Member that you are all from the same party and they will do their best to seat you together. As a last resort, you could try and join the Mobile Dine Walk-up list in the Disneyland Mobile App on the day of your visit.

If you're a foodie like me, be sure to follow the Disney Parks Blog and Disney Eats! The Disney100 Celebration has served up some yummy dishes already. My favorite is the Lemon Tea Cake and the Potato & Cheddar Cheeseburger. You'll be visiting during the Food & Wine Festival at Disney California Adventure as well! Save some room in your tummy for some exquisite eats!

I wish you luck in making your dining reservations, Adrionah. I hope you found this information useful and please come by planDisney anytime with more planning questions! We're here to help.

Meet the Panelist: Al, California

Ahoy there from the heart of Steinbeck Country in central California! I've been visiting the Disneyland Resort since childhood and fell in love with the sense of absolute immersion that the Imagineers have achieved. My favorite attraction is Pirates of the Caribbean because where else can you go from a California day to an evening boat ride in the bayou with "salty old pirates"? I'm a veterinarian and an all-around Disney geek and enthusiast. I'd love to help you plan your next Disneyland trip! Learn More About Al
