Welcome to plan Disney, Steve! I'm glad you stopped by with your question. It is important to "
Know Before You Go"!
At this time, face coverings are required at all indoor locations for all Guests ages 2 and up, regardless of vaccination status. Indoor locations include all indoor public spaces at resort hotels; indoor dining locations except when actively eating or drinking while stationary;
transportation including buses, monorail, and Disney Skyliner; and all indoor attractions and indoor queues. Masks are optional in all outdoor locations, including outdoor theaters and attractions that are fully outdoors.
Face coverings must fully cover the nose, mouth, and chin, and be secured with ear loops or around the head. Gaiters, bandannas, and masks with valves, mesh, or holes are not permitted.
I have visited Walt Disney World Resort several times since enhanced
health and safety protocols have been implemented. I recommend packing plenty of masks for each member of your party. I prefer cloth masks and bring enough for each day of my trip, plus a stash of disposable masks in my park bag just in case. I have also found that keeping my mask on a lanyard makes it easy to take on and off (and keep track of!).
Steve, if you have any additional questions in advance of your trip, please feel free to visit planDisney again anytime. We are always happy to help. Enjoy your visit during
The World's Most Magical Celebration!
