Hiya Michele,
Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for visiting us today and for your question. The health and safety of you and your family are incredibly important, and since the pandemic, Walt Disney World Resort has implemented changes to support a continued commitment to both.
Since the early stages of reopening, we have seen the requirement of masks, the implantation of line spacers in the queues to support 6 feet of distance, and the halting of services that could not be operated in accordance with the CDC guidelines. While many of the guidelines put in place earlier in the reopening have phased out (i.e., mandatory face coverings indoors and outdoors), several remain (i.e.
Disney Park Pass Reservations and more hand sanitizer stations throughout the Theme Parks). As Walt Disney World Resort continues to evaluate its best practices, I highly recommend checking the
Know Before You Go webpage prior to your next visit. The guidelines in place now are subject to change, and the site is always updated to reflect any changes.
I hope this was helpful, Michelle. Please come back and see us if you need anything else!
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
