Hiya, Marlin! Welcome to planDisney!
I hope you’re keeping warm with the late-season snow hitting the prairies. As a fellow Canadian, I’m more than ready for better weather! It looks like you’re planning an August visit to
The Most Magical Place on Earth. In my opinion, this is a great time to visit. It is very hot and humid, but in my experience, crowds tend to be lower from August into the beginning of September. If you’re a Halloween fan, you’ll start to see some Halloween and fall decorations around Walt Disney World during this time as well.
To answer your question, Marlin, I visited the Walt Disney World website and thoroughly reviewed the details of both the
Canada Residents Get a 4-Day Theme Park Ticket Starting at US$115 Per Day, Plus Tax offer and the
Canada Residents Save Up to 30% on Rooms in Late Summer and Early Fall offer. I couldn’t find any details about when these offers will no longer be available to book. To double-check, I chatted with a friendly Cast Member who confirmed that she could not find an end date at this time either.
What I can tell you for the room offer specifically is that the number of rooms allocated to this offer is limited. These offers do tend to book up, which means availability can become limited well before the travel dates begin. In my experience, ticket offers tend to remain available for a longer period of time on the
Special Offers page of the Walt Disney World Resort website. With that said, the Special Offers page is updated regularly, and offers are subject to change at any time.
I hope this answers your question, Marlin!
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is hosted at Magic Kingdom Park on select nights from August through October. This is a separately ticketed event, and the first event date is typically in mid-August, so it just may line up with your trip. It’s a
spooktacular good time, and I highly recommend it!
If you have any other questions as you continue to plan your visit, please don’t hesitate to come back and see us here at
