We are current AP holders, which are due to expire in December. We are going to renew on the expiration date, but will the renewal not become effective until we use them the first time? Similar to when we first purchased them? Thanks!

    Hi Rob,

I hope you've enjoyed a year FULL of magic and fun and have been able to enjoy lots of visits to the Walt Disney World Resort with your Annual Passes!

To enjoy the Annual Passholder renewal discount rate, you simply need to renew your Annual Passes any time between 60 days before their expiration and 30 days after they have expired. Regardless of when you renew them, though, they will expire one year from your Anniversary Date. When you're ready to renew, you may do so online, at any theme park ticket window or Disney Springs Guest Relations location, or by calling (407) 560-PASS or (407) 560-7277. Not only will you be able to enjoy another year of celebrating traditions and discovering new favorites, but you'll also be eligible for all of the wonderful Annual Passholder discounts and perks.

Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Rob, and if you ever have any other questions as you're planning a trip to the most magical place on earth, please let us know. We're always happy to help! I hope that you have another year of truly magical vacations!
