Hi! Curious about why all dates that I check for Disney’s Hilton Head Island resort show unavailable? I have tried different length of stays and all different range of dates and can never get anything to show as available. Thanks!

    Hiya Ariana!

I love Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort. The charm of the Lowcountry combined with Disney magic is the perfect recipe for a lovely vacation. Let's see if we can figure out why pixie dust hasn't flown your way!

I logged onto Disney Vacation Club's website, and since we happen to be going to Hilton Head in September, I put in our dates to check availability. Up popped a 2-bedroom Villa! Now, that could be because our dates are after school starts, so it's a less popular time to visit.

But! I scrolled through the availability calendar (click on the down arrow to the left of the Villa type), and there is wide open availability from September 2025 through February 2026. Between now and September, there is availability, but it is limited to single or double days, usually on the weekends. I modified my search for fewer people (we are a family of 5) and saw a similar pattern. (FYI, the Deluxe Studios are almost entirely reserved through October; I think I counted five available days in the next 6 months!)

So the best thing to do is plan for your Hilton Head stay at least 6 months out to give you the best chance of availability and be flexible with your desired dates. Obviously, the summer and school breaks will be incredibly popular, so if you can swing a visit in the off-season, go for it! While you're there, make sure to stop by Signals and enjoy a Dole Whip on the beach for me!

Good luck planning your magical vacation,
    Rayna
