I am curious as to the pull out chair for sleeping in the 1 bedroom villa in Kidani Villas. Is it large enough for an adult sized (teen) child to sleep? Also, what view is club level and what amenities are included? Thanks!

    Hello Julie!

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village is my family’s first Home Resort with Disney Vacation Club, and we have stayed here on many occasions. No matter how busy our day in the theme parks is, I always feel relaxed as soon as we step off the bus at Kidani Village. The warm colors, soft drumbeats, and lantern light transport me to a far-off land, free of stress. It is the ultimate Hakuna Matata, “No Worries!”

The pull out sleeper chair is just as long as a typical twin bed, but it is approximately 7-8 inches narrower. My teenagers are on the smaller side and they fit comfortably. In fact, they usually fight over who gets to sleep there since it means they don’t have to share a bed with their sibling. As a small adult myself, I think I would also be comfortable. However, a larger adult might find it a bit narrow.

Club Level accommodations are not available at Kidani Village, but next door at Jambo House. It is a little confusing, but there are two, separate buildings with separate front desks that house Animal Kingdom Villas. Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is the original resort that houses standard rooms. Later, Deluxe Villas were added to the Lodge. While these villas are in the same building as the original resort, they are known as Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas - Jambo House. Then, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village is a separate building that was built later, and only offers Deluxe Villa Accommodations (but no Club Level). It's about a 10 minute walk between the lobbies.

Jambo House has the same type of sleeper chair in the 1 Bedrooms, but only one bathroom rather than the two at Kidani Village. Deluxe Villa Accommodations with Club Level Access will be either a pool or a savanna view. You do not get to select which view during booking, but you can request a particular view over the phone. While a request is never guaranteed, I am a firm believer that it never hurts to ask nicely! You’ll also find standard resort rooms at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge (remember, that’s the original resort) that also offer Club Level. These rooms are always savanna view.

The Kilimanjaro Club Lounge offers a separate check-in area and concierge services, as well as light refreshments throughout the day. Usually juices, soft drinks, coffee and tea are served, and select alcoholic beverages are available by request. You can generally expect a light continental breakfast, morning snacks, afternoon tea, early evening appetizers, and then desserts to finish off the perfect Disney evening!

That is a lot to think about, Julie! Please let me know what additional questions you have as you plan your visit, we are here to help!

    Have a Magical Day!
