Hello Ben!
Welcome to planDisney!
Disney’s BoardWalk Inn and
Disney’s BoardWalk Villas are a great location for a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! This is one of my family’s
Disney Vacation Club Home Resorts so we stay here quite often, and we’ve spent many happy hours at both the
Luna Park Pool and the leisure pool near the villas. The feature pool is named after the actual amusement park at Coney Island, and you’ll notice the pool’s theme harks back to the traditional wooden rollercoasters, circus tents, and fun of this famous location.
Ben, all pools at the Walt Disney World Resort are chlorine-based pools, rather than saltwater-based. I hope this is what you were asking, and helps you in your planning. I know some people are very sensitive to chlorine pools, and so it is helpful to know in advance what to expect, especially for small children. If any kids in your group will have to skip the pool, maybe head over to Ferris W. Eahlers
Community Hall. This small building is located near the villas but is open to all Guests. You’ll find a pool table, bean-bag toss, video and board games, bike rentals, DVD rentals, and arts and crafts (some crafts have an additional fee). They also offer evening campfires right at Community Hall, and nightly movies either at Community Hall or on the main lawn by the lobby. My kids really enjoy Community Hall and no trip is complete with at least one visit.
I hope this helps to answer your question, Ben. Wishing you and your family a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
