Hi Bridget,
Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by to chat about
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, it's the perfect mix of Victorian elegance and modern sophistication. I love riding the
Disney Monorail and hopping off to explore the many shops in the lobby and listening to the musicians who are often performing for the Guests strolling by.
The Grand Floridian has several resort buildings that sit along the shore of Seven Seas Lagoon. I chatted with a Cast Member about Big Pine Key, home to many of the resort's
Disney Vacation Club Resort Studios. They confirmed that there is a restroom in the lobby of Big Pine Key and noted that you're steps away from the quiet pool where you can find additional restrooms. You'll find you're a hop, skip and a jump away from the main lobby where you'll find restrooms, shops and restaurants.
If you're heading back to the resort from Magic Kingdom and want to skip the crowds at the monorail station, consider taking the scenic walkway instead - it’s a peaceful way to enjoy stunning views of Seven Seas Lagoon. Depending on your timing, you might even catch the
Electrical Water Pageant as it makes its way around the lagoon!
I hope this info helps with your planning, Bridget! If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to stop by
planDisney again - we’re always happy to help!
See ya real soon,
Candace
