Just curious if there is a list of retailers throughout the parks (including DTD) that offer a military discount? I know I've had luck at some and not at others but cannot remember which ones. I'd prefer to do my shopping at those with a discount. Thanks!

    Hi Cori,
This is a great question and I am glad you asked it because now I know for myself. We're a military family also, so this was a good opportunity for me to do some research. I found some great information on www.militarydisneytips.com regarding discounts for dining and shopping, most of which are for the Downtown Disney area (restaurants including House of Blues and Raglan Road; merchandise including Basin and Planet Hollywood). There are no in-park military discounts-the Walt Disney World Resort offers a great deal on park tickets for those that are currently serving or are retired military. The vendors at Downtown Disney that do offer military discounts are those that are not owned and operated by Walt Disney World Resort. However, do I as I do and always ask (as we say in our family, asking is free)!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel and I hope you have a great vacation!!

    Best Wishes,
    Amy B.
