Hi there, Talia! Welcome to the wonderful world of planDisney! Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by and ask your Walt Disney World Resort vacation question!
Walt Disney World Resort is welcoming Guests back into the magic with a
few updates and modifications to increase safety! At this time, Guests can look forward to enhanced cleaning procedures across the property, adjustments to promote physical distancing, and modified experiences to reduce contact. Additionally, all Guests ages 2 and up will be required to wear a face covering at all times outside of actively eating or swimming. Speaking from experience, all of these updates make you feel incredibly safe during your visit and really speak to the prioritization of Guest safety!
Walt Disney World Resort is a smoke-free environment outside of designated smoking areas. This includes the use of tobacco, e-cigarettes, or other products that produce a vapor or smoke. You can find the designated smoking areas at the entrance of all four theme parks and both water parks. These areas can also be found at Disney’s Boardwalk and Disney Springs, if needed.
Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside of guest rooms or on balconies at
Disney Resort hotels. There are also designated smoking areas available at each resort. This information can either be requested at the front desk or can be found on the
Designated Smoking Areas webpage.
If you are looking for more information regarding updated policies and procedures at the theme parks, you can visit the
“Parks and Tickets: Know Before You Go” webpage! You can find a wealth of information here regarding re-opening procedures and the most up-to-date policies that may have changed.
I hope you have a magical visit to Walt Disney World Resort this Spring! Please let us know if we can answer any additional questions for you!
