Just curious. Hearing a lot about this times guide deal to meet characters in the parks. What exactly is it and where can I get one?

    Hi Denise!

Congratulations on your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation!

Since I no longer need a map, I absolutely rely on the Times Guide Slips to keep informed of show times, special events and Character Greetings around the parks! It's a great reference to help you pack in everything you want to see in a day!

You can pick up a Times Guide as you enter the park. It's the same size as a park map - but just one, double-sided slip of paper. If you don't see them out front, pop into Guest Services or ask any Cast Member where you can pick one up. I've noticed that even many of the shopping kiosks have them on display just after you enter the parks.

You'll find that each park will have it's own Times Guide for the day, week or month, depending on the time of year. The time period the guise is valid for will be listed across the top. Usually, your Disney Resort Hotel will even have all of them available, along with maps, right at the front desk.

Wishing you a simply Magical time on your Walt Disney World vacation Denise!
