I was just curious as to how much extra money I should bring for food & souvenirs. It is just me and my boyfriend, and we are each paying for ourselves. Everything else is already taken care of. And we only have 3 major dinners/breakfasts planned.

Hi, Olivia!  This is a really personal decision, based on the things you like to do while you are on vacation.  If you are not on a dining plan, I recommend visiting the dining pages on allears.net to get a rough estimate of how much you'll need for meals and snacks.  Budget a little bit extra for drinks, because you may find that you are drinking a bit more in the Florida sunshine.

As far as souvenirs, if you're t-shirt people, figure about $25 for a t-shirt.  You'll find some priced less, but this is a good estimate for some of the most popular styles.  There are souvenirs that will be less than $10, such as antenna toppers, various types of drinking cups or mugs, pens, key rings, etc.; but you can also splurge on something like a Mickey Mouse watch, which is going to run you quite a bit higher.

Don't forget to factor in things like tips, and if you plan on taking taxis anywhere, it's usually under $20 to get anywhere on Walt Disney World property.

I'd say it wouldn't be too outrageous to figure on $100 per person, per day, but you can certainly do it well within that budget if you watch your budget closely.

I hope this helps with your planning!
