Eric from NV Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I was curious if covid tests are required for unvaccinated children.

    Hi Eric,

Welcome to planDisney! We're so glad you stopped by with your question about what to expect during the phased reopening when it comes to health requirements.

While policies are always subject to change, the State of California is currently strongly recommending that all Guests be fully vaccinated or receive a negative COVID-19 test prior to entering the Disneyland Resort. No proof of vaccination or negative test results will be required, but Disney does ask that all Guests abide by the Health Acknowledgement on their Returning to a Land of Magic page. At this point, too, all unvaccinated Guests age two and up need to wear face coverings when indoors, unless stationary and actively eating or drinking.

News does seem to be changing frequently, so I'd definitely encourage you to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for updates and announcements. While some things do still feel a bit different these days, the magic is very much alive and well, and I'm so excited for you to experience it with your Mouseketeers sometime soon! You guys will have a BLAST soaking up all the magic and fun at The Happiest Place on Earth!

Thanks so much for visiting us at planDisney, Eric, and please feel free to let us know if you have any other questions. I hope you have a truly magical vacation!
