    Curious about your answer re Fantasmic pkg. You mention that you can just order off the menu. One CM says the same, another says fixed price. Deciding which is correct and if it is worth it, as we are out of table credits and would have to pay $$

    Hi Kim,

    Sorry for the confusion. There are three restaurants that participate in the Fantasmic dining package and it seems that the policies vary depending on which one you dine at.

    The easiest is Hollywood & Vine. This is a buffet-style restaurant. All guests eat the same food and are charged the same price. If you are paying out-of-pocket, this is the most economical option (about $29 per adult).

    At Mama Melrose, there is fixed price menu. Prices can change, but for approximately $35 per adult, you can choose an appetizer, entree, dessert, and non-alcoholic beverage.

    At Hollywood Brown Derby, guests are able to order from the menu, a la carte. 

    I've done the Fantasmic dinner myself twice, at Hollywood & Vine and Brown Derby, so I didn't have the prix fixe situation fully in hand. My apologies. 

    Be aware that policies do change from time to time. They have to keep us on our toes :-)
