Hiya Michelle,
Welcome back to planDisney. I am so glad you stopped in with your great question! It won't be long now until you are on your way to your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation. There is even more magic and excitement as the 50th Anniversary Celebration is still underway. You will also be there in time to enjoy all the fall festivities and one of our favorite events, the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. You and your taste buds are in for a culinary treat as you nibble and sip your way around The World Showcase. There are so many scrumptious food and beverage options that it will be hard to pick just one. You will want to come hungry and try them all!
I was so excited to see the recent announcement that Stitch, Winnie the Pooh and the other beloved Disney pals were returning to 'Ohana and Crystal Palace!
Character Dining is one of our favorite ways to enjoy a meal while at Walt Disney World. Not only is the food delicious, but it is a great chance to have some quality time with your favorite Disney friends and capture some perfect family photos. While most character dining locations are now open, there has not been an official announcement regarding the return of 1900 Park Fare, Akershus Royal Banquet Hall or Trattoria al Forno. Cinderella's Royal Table is currently open with a modified character experience that includes the opportunity to see Cinderella (and often another visiting Princess) but for now, this visit is not an up close interaction. I am hopeful that these will be returning in the near future and suggest you keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for updates. They will be sure to share the news as soon as it is announced. In the meantime, our absolute favorite character dining experience is
Garden Grill Restaurant at EPCOT and it is open. The food is delicious and the character interactions with Mickey Mouse, Pluto, Chip and Dale are fantastic. I do not think you will be disappointed.
Wishing you a magical time! If I can help with any additional planning questions, please
stop back and see me.
With pixie dust,
Margaret
