Welcome aboard, Cynthia! I'm so happy you've found the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and hope that you are finding answers to lots of your Disney planning questions!
Disney Cruise Line offers ground transportation between the airport and the port terminal as well as between the Walt Disney World Resorts and the port terminal. If you're staying at the airport overnight before you set sail, you can book this transportation which really takes all the stress out of planning. Disney takes care of all the details, so all you need to do is show up at the Disney Ground Transportation check-in desk at the airport the following morning, hand over your bags, and off you go to the port! There is an additional cost of $35 per person each way for this service, but I promise you that it is well worth every single penny. One of the agents with Disney Cruise Line, or your travel agent can add this transportation to your existing cruise reservation.
Guests cruising with Disney for the first time will be able to
log into their reservation online and begin choosing Port Adventures, Adult Exclusive Dining and Spa Treatments 75 days prior to sailing. I recommend that you take some time now to decide on adventures and days you'd like to dine in Palo or Remy, so that when your booking window opens, you can log in and choose your extras right away. Previous guests will have been able to book 90 or more days in advance, and some reservations do go quickly, so take the time now to decide so you're ready to book as soon as you can!
Let me know what other questions you have as you continue to plan this magical cruise, Cynthia! I'm always happy to help!
