We are cruising on the Wish in December 2024. One of my daughters will be 11 but the other daughter will only be 10. Is it possible for them to both go to Edge together? If so, how can I get permission beforehand to eliminate confusion once on the ship?

    Hello, Lindsey!

Welcome to planDisney. You will love sailing on the Disney Wish! My family sailed on it last year, and the entire voyage was pure magic! My kids loved plunging down the AquaMouse water slide and playing in Disney's Oceaneers Club, while my spouse and I enjoyed relaxing in the adult-only areas of the ship.

Edge is the super fun tween club on the Disney Wish, and it may be possible for your 10-year-old daughter to visit Edge with her big sister. It sometimes depends on the number and ages of other tweens in Edge in my experience, but I am hopeful that your youngest daughter can enjoy the activities in Edge! Stop by Edge on your embarkation day to explore the area and talk with a Crew Member. They may have you sign a waiver to allow your daughter to visit Edge during your cruise.

Your youngest daughter may also want to explore Disney's Oceaneer Club. You can visit it together during the Open House hours, usually on embarkation day. Just check the schedule on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app after boarding the ship to see when the Open House will take place. My kids loved interacting with the Walt Disney Imagineering Lab, where they could draw their own roller coaster attractions! They also liked participating in the Marvel Super Hero Academy and meeting new friends. There are so many little ones on the ship that is fairly easy for many kids to connect with new friends their age!

Lindsey, I hope you have a wonderful vacation filled with laughter and joy!

    Happy sailing!
