Welcome aboard, Mark!
When you arrive in San Diego after your
California Coast cruise, you're so close to Disneyland that I'm happy to hear you'll be heading there to continue the magic of your extended Disney vacation! I used to live in Southern California, and still have family out there, so each time we visit or sail from there with Disney, a day or two (at least!) at Disneyland is an absolute must for our family!
When the ship arrives in port in San Diego, all guests must be off the ship by 9:00 or 9:30 a.m. However, you may leave earlier than that, depending on your dining time. While you're free to enjoy breakfast at your leisure throughout the sailing, you will be assigned a breakfast time on that last morning. Guests who have had Main Dining for dinner during the cruise will have breakfast around 6:45 a.m. Those who have had the later dining for dinner will have an 8:00 or 8:15 breakfast. Exact times will be communicated to you the night prior. Cabanas is also open that morning for guests who would prefer to dine at the buffet at a different time than their assigned time.
The ship is usually cleared for disembarkation to begin by around 7:00 or 7:30 a.m. At that point, guests using express departure and carrying all of their own luggage, instead of sending it ahead as most do, can then walk off the ship, followed by others after that. So, depending on your breakfast time, that should give you a good idea of when you'll begin to disembark. Add about a half hour to get off the ship and go through customs, and hopefully you'll have a better idea of when to book your car for pick up. Then it'll be off to the
Disneyland Hotel to enjoy even more Disney fun! Lucky you, Mark!
Have such fun on your cruise and at the Happiest Place on Earth!
