Hi again, Linda!
You have asked a fantastic question! There are a couple of ways to find out when things will be happening on your cruise.
Once you are able to access your online check-in, you will see a tab labeled "My Cruise Activities". If you click on each day, you will see the different things listed, such as Pirate Night or Star Wars day. If this does not work, then you will want to call my friends at Disney Cruise Line Reservations at 800-449-3380 and ask them! No one will know what special activities are in store, that will be a surprise once you are onboard!
You will also want to load the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App onto your smart phone, which will show you "on the go" what is happening all day. This is especially helpful for character meet and greets. The paper Daily Navigator is also delivered each evening for the next day, and you will see all of the fun listed there as well.
All activities are subject to change once you are onboard. On our October cruise, we had to divert around a tropical storm, and went to the ports in a different order. This did not change our Pirate Night, but if it had, no big deal! Once you have the costumes packed, it really doesn't matter which night you actually wear them!
I would absolutely plan costumes for the little ones (and you, too!). Pirate Night is probably my favorite thing about a Disney Cruise Line vacation! Plus, if I could wear Star Wars garb for a day, I would be ALL IN!
I hope you have an amazing back-to-back journey on the gorgeous Disney Fantasy! Can you please pack me into your suitcase?
Happy Cruising, Tracy V.
