Ahoy, Danielle,
Welcome aboard, planDisney! A
Disney Dream sailing sounds absolutely magical. I love cruising out of
Fort Lauderdale down the Intracoastal Waterway into the Atlantic Ocean. It's a beautiful sail away that I hope you'll enjoy up on Deck 12 after the Sailing Away Deck Party with your favorite Disney friends. It's a perfect way to kick off vacation!
Danielle,
ground transportation through Disney Cruise Line is connected to your cruise reservation, not your hotel reservation. So if you'd like to book ground transfers from the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina Hotel to Port Everglades, you do not have to be staying there before your cruise. You will need to make sure you arrive at the hotel in plenty of time to check in for the transfers. You can add ground transfers to your reservation on the
Disney Cruise Line website, the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app, or by
calling Disney Cruise Line at 1(800) 951-3532. You should receive an email within 24 to 48 hours before your cruise with the meeting time and location. If you do not receive an email, I recommend calling the hotel and asking the front desk. When you arrive at the hotel, make sure your luggage is tagged, since you won't see it again until it magically appears outside your stateroom door. Keep any
important documentation in your carry-on, along with medications and anything else (bathing suits) you may need the first afternoon.
Thank you for your question, Danielle. If you need further help with your plans, please let us know.
