    Cruising in October and spending one night at All Star Sports before. We will be there on an evening when Mickeys Not So Scary Party will be taking place . Will fireworks still be taking place on party nights? Wanted to view them from outside the park.

    Hi Lindsay, welcome back to planDisney!

    My family just returned from a fabulous Disney cruise and are dreaming about the possibility of experiencing Halloween on the High Seas. My dream becomes your reality this fall with an extra night of magic at Walt Disney World Resort. Experiencing a nighttime spectacular sounds like a spooktacular way to kickstart the celebration! 

    Last year, Disney Enchantment did not take place on Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party nights. Instead, Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular filled the skies with Halloween magic. While fireworks times are not currently available past August, I see that Happily Ever After does not occur on August 11, which is the first Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party of the season, and Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular takes place at 10:15 p.m. on August 11. You can expect the same timing for your October visit. 

    Kara shared some great dining options for Magic Kingdom Park fireworks viewing. Since the show time might be later than you expected, my best tip is to take complimentary bus transportation from Disney's All-Star Sports Resort to Magic Kingdom Park that night. If you have extra time, take the Resort Monorail and visit all of the monorail loop resorts: Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. If you have less time, take the 15-minute walk from Magic Kingdom Park to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. My favorite spot to catch Magic Kingdom Park fireworks is the area outside of Gasparilla Island Grill. Place a mobile food and beverage order for one of their delicious cupcakes and you have the ingredients for your best night ever!

    When the fireworks are done, walk or take the Resort Monorail back to Magic Kingdom Park, where you can catch a bus back to Disney's All-Star Sports Resort. While you're there, take some pictures in front of Magic Kingdom Park. The ghoulish glow is quite nice for selfies.
