We are cruising in November on the Fantasy. Wondering what is suggested for semi-formal night? Also, does anyone ever wear Mickey ears on board the ship?

    Hi Elizabeth, welcome aboard!

Does anyone wear Mickey ears on the ship? Of course! I do! My kids do! I've even convinced my husband to don a pair of Mickey ears once in awhile! If you have your own, bring them! Otherwise, a selection are always available to purchase onboard in the gift shops. It's not a Disney vacation without at least one pair of Mickey ears! Mine are technically Minnie ears, very pink and sparkly, and I love wearing them! So, add those to your packing list for sure!

Formal Night won't be the night to wear the Mickey ears, but whenever else, go ahead and put those on! Formal Night and Semi-Formal Night are when guests get dressed up for a more elegant evening. On both nights, you'll find guests in a wide variety of attire. On Semi-Formal Night, you'll typically see the ladies in dresses and skirts, the men in button-down shirts and khakis and sometimes a tie. Guests will dress up a bit more on Formal Night, with a jacket and tie for the men (though not required), and a dressier cocktail dress for the women. The little girls love to wear their favorite Disney princess gowns on those nights, although, I guess honestly, the little girls wear those all the time onboard!

Your family is in for all sorts of magic on this, your very first cruise with Disney, Elizabeth! As you continue to plan for your fall sailing on the Disney Fantasy, please let us know if you come up with any other questions. We're so happy to help you get ready for the big sail date!
