    We are cruising on Nov. 2 out of Galveston. I was curious what is there to do in Grand Cayman that would be in walking distance from where we tender in? Thanks!

    It is great to hear from you again!  I've just returned from a sailing on the Disney Wonder so I'm excited that your turn on this majestic ship will be here soon! 
    Once you get over to the island after a 10 minute tender, you will find plenty of shopping around the pier.  Unfortunately, there isn't too much to do within walking distance.  If you are looking for a beach to enjoy, I recommend taking a taxi to Seven Mile Beach which is located not too far from the pier.  On the north end of the beach you will find a public beach with restrooms.  If you decide to venture out, be sure to negotiate taxi fare before leaving and leave plenty of time for your return.
